Art has always been a major part of my life since I can remember. Only through years of experience did I find out how much joy I get from painting. Although l didn't take art in university, my love for art never faltered. I continued to paint my thoughts and ideas in my free time. Being a stay at home mom later helped me to reignite my passion for art, which pushed me towards mastering the art of watercolour.
Watercolour has a certain fluidity that no other paints can even come close to. It ceases to amaze me due to its unpredictable outcomes. Even though an artwork or idea is planned in your head, the result is still uncertain if the brush hasn't grazed the surface of the paper. It is almost impossible to duplicate a watercolour artwork even by the painter itself.
